Policies & Procedures Manual Tool

The Center’s web-based policies & procedures manual (PPM) tool enables financial aid offices to build, edit, maintain, and publish their financial aid policies and procedures using pre-defined or school-developed templates and multimedia content.  Maintaining paper notebooks and reference sheets can be something of the past with our new PPM tool.  Your staff members will have immediate and 24/7 access to guidelines for processing aid correctly, as well as resources to check on compliance-related requirements.  Designated financial aid staff can monitor the development of each new policy or procedure, review and approve documents, and delegate the responsibility for publishing and notifying all staff when procedures are posted.

The PPM tool features built-in tracking to identify authors, reviewers, and alert dates for updating content.  Easy and flexible to use, the web-enabled PPM tool will help centralize policies and procedures, and allow schools to collaborate in sharing best practices for the overall development of financial aid policies and procedures.  The PPM tool will be integrated with The Center’s documentation service and available later in 2008.  If you would like to receive early notification of the release, please complete our contact form and indicate in the comments field that you are interested in the PPM tool.
