Overview
Aquila joined ECG as a senior consultant in 2010 following 23 years of work experience in financial aid. In her recent engagement work, Aquila provided interim management support and staff training.
Previous Experience and Skills
She was an assistant director of financial aid at LaSalle University (PA); and she has served as the director of financial aid at The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PA), The University of the Arts (PA), and most recently, for Camden County College (NJ).
In addition to managing these financial aid operations, Aquila’s skills include:
| • | 18 years of experience using the Datatel Colleague student information system, including managing software upgrades and conversions |
| • | 10 years of complex enrollment management experience |
| • | Micro and macro budget management experience |
| • | Supervising, training, and motivating staffs |
| • | Writing financial aid policies, procedures, and forms; and developing training materials |
Additional Accomplishments
Aquila derives deep satisfaction from assisting students and families with navigating the complexities of the financial aid system in order to realize their educational goals.
As a lifelong learner, Aquila has pursued various courses of personal interest, including accounting, glassblowing, music theory, and Swahili.
